Glass jar of Taui balm on a white tray

review: taui egyptian skin balm

I love having a bee product-based multipurpose balm in my shelf to take care of everything from cuts and scrapes to serving as an eye cream when I’m feeling lazy. Over the past several years, I’ve tried Egyptian Magic, Worker B Cream, Medicine Mama’s Sweet Bee Magic, and Taos Honeybee Balm—to name a few! I never tire of the magic of the honey bee, so when I stumbled upon Taui’s Egyptian Skin Balm, I knew I had to buy it.

Performance: This balm is moderately soft (not as soft as Egyptian Magic or Medicine Mama’s but not as firm as Worker B) and has a waxy consistency. Made of just 4 deeply nourishing ingredients, this lovingly handmade product is certified organic and cruelty-free. It warms on contact and doesn’t leave a greasy residue. I use it under my eyes, on my hands, liberally on my lips, and in my hair to tame flyaways. It’s such a boon for my sensitive skin!

Scent Profile: A light honey scent

Packaging: Clear glass jar with a white plastic lid

Ingredients: Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Honey, Raw Beeswax, and Propolis

Price: $19.00 USD

Disposal: Recyclable or reusable glass jar and plastic lid

I’m such a fan of a good multipurpose product, and this ticks all the boxes for me! Made with beautiful ingredients at a reasonable price point, I will definitely be repurchasing this product. Have you heard of or tried Taui?
